In 2006 a new book appeared in Swedish: The Beatles, Maharishi and I - A Kind of memoir by Conny Larsson For over 30 years, Conny was completely engrossed in two Eastern cult guru - Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and Sathya Sai Baba. Finally he broke out of the indoctrination he endured and began to write about the alienated existence in which he had become entrapped. In this highly readable book beginning in the 1960s when the Beatles got involved with Maharishi, he helps us understand the mechanisms and patterns he followed.
